Like many readers my first experience with Mr. Wells was at the movies but what an introduction it was. His books filled the library shelves which is the first place we'd run to after seeing the cinematic version of one of his books. Even though he wrote in several different genres his 19th century science fiction is still enjoyed over 100 years later.
