REVIEW: Views from Sandhausen: Experiences from Foreign Service by Clifford L. Feightner

Views from Sandhausen: Experiences from a Foreign Service Assignment
Don't miss it!

From a small village south of Heidelberg, Germany an American on a corporate foreign service assignment shares the exploits of himself and his wife. Imagine dealing with the trials and tribulations of what is referred to in Germany as customer service (what’s with Deutsche Post and Deutsche Telekom), your FedEx deliveries always being rerouted by customs (meaning added expense and further delays) not to mention the cultural differences with as much humor and fortitude as can be mustered and you have a tale that shouldn’t-be-missed. Now imagine traversing Europe with the aide of a GPS system affectionately called ‘Isis’, add the Louvre, the Alps, an historic schloss or two, the French Rivera, some Roman ruins and “Views from Sandhausen” becomes a can’t-be-missed adventure story.
