FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PRLog (Press Release) – Mar 04, 2011 – San Francisco, Calif. – Untreed Reads, the San Francisco-based ebook publishing company with the environmentally friendly name, is now going green for something a little different—St. Patrick’s Day. Untreed Reads announced today two new short stories with the leprechaun’s touch—A MOBSTER’S TOAST TO ST. PATRICK’S DAY by Beth Mathison, and PADDY WHACKED by S. Furlong-Bolliger.
Both authors have previously released holiday-themed stories through Untreed Reads. Mathison introduced Jeremy, her cupcake-making hero with mob ties, in the Thanksgiving story A MOBSTER’S GUIDE TO CRANBERRY SAUCE and the Valentine’s short A MOBSTER’S RECIPE FOR CUPCAKES. Her latest work finds Jeremy on the brink of business failure, his girlfriend is ready to dump him and he can’t seem to catch a break from two inept “family” employees.
Furlong-Bolliger’s latest release takes a darker tone. In PADDY WHACKED, Inspector Helmes and his sidekick have their work cut out for them solving the murder of Paddy O’Toole, the Grand Leprechaun. However, nothing can prepare them for the strange lineup of suspects they encounter at the Holiday Icon Convention. Furlong-Bolliger previously released the Thanksgiving mystery DEATH BY JELLO, and the yuletide short CHRISTMAS IN KILLARNEY.
