Book Review: In Search of Lucy by Lia Fairchild

In her debut novel, Lia Fairchild shares a compelling tale with carefully drawn well-defined characters.

In Search of Lucy, available on Kindle, is the account of Lucy Lang, a thirty year-old woman who feels she has wasted her life. She has always taken care of everyone else only to have them desert her in the end and why shouldn’t they? Even she sees how worthless she is.

When Lucy gets a phone call from her brother-in-law saying her estranged sister is ill, she drops everything to drive across country to donate a kidney but while taking care of someone else this time she is very surprised to find she not only has a caring family but also loyal friends.

Lia Fairchild is a native Californian who loves reading, writing, movies, and anything else related to the arts. Her most enjoyable moments are spent with my family, traveling, spending time outdoors, or simply laughing and being together. Look for updates on her next book at http://www.liafairchild.com/
