The excitement of a snow day is high for all of the kids on the block Billy and Tommy included but that day of pleasure leads to a night of survival. Too bad there's no "TV writer penning an inventive escape".
Dan Mauer doesn't let us escape the night of fear by simply putting the book down...readers have to keep the gripping pace; turning the pages and feeling the panic. Mr. Mauer builds the suspense and then leads us on a journey of trepidation. I'd been waiting for an artful tale of bone-chilling drama and found it here.
