Library: New year, new resolution - help your library

How Can You Help?

"Out with the old, in with the new." What's your New Year's resolution?
Some popular resolutions are to become healthier, save money, or spend more time with family and friends, all excellent resolutions.
Unfortunately, every year only a few of us succeed. We start strong, but after a few weeks we lose steam.
This year, don't let your train come to a halt. I have a New Year's resolution that may be the easiest of all to keep. Drum roll please - make the library your 2014 resolution.
In many cities, libraries are considered hidden jewels. Most people are aware that libraries exist, but many are inclined to think: "The library doesn't have anything for me" or "The library is only for children."
Yet, the library is for everyone. It offers Internet access, computer classes, meeting spaces, DVDs, CDs, programs for all ages, job and career resources, and a host of books and free downloadables. We are an outstanding resource and an entertainment center for the community.

To help us keep these amazing resources free, we need your help.

Most important, keep using the library, and have Happy new year.
