Larry is an anxiety-ridden, fruity-drink-guzzling, shape-shifting alien who’s been sent to earth to monitor our species. After sending the local Mafioso to the crustaceous period as a personal favor to his friend and neighborhood bar owner, Murphy, he goes home to take up residence with same to the objections of Murphy’s wife, Dolores, and the delight of his mother-in-law, Edna.

Larry becomes fast friends with Edna, tries to be useful to Dolores and fills in at Murphy’s bar becoming a favorite with the customers.

The multi talented John McDonnell has created a perfect existence for the marooned but talented sometimes problematic Larry. He also writes horror, sci-fi and romance. Visit John’s flash fiction blog to find out more about his stories, Larry’s adventures and John’s new adventures.
